Core module classification and key parameters

(1) Main Processor Module (MP)

Core configuration: Each system has 3 modules, sharing 1 motherboard, forming TMR three channels

Communication interface: RS-232/485 Modbus port, 10BaseT Ethernet port (connected to TriStation 1131)

Storage capacity: 16MB DRAM (application, I/O data, diagnostic cache)

Synchronization mechanism: Three module data synchronous voting is realized through TriBus high-speed bus

(2) Communication module (CM)

Interface specifications: 3 RS-232/485 serial ports (115kbps), 2 Ethernet ports (10/100BaseT)

Protocol support: Modbus (RTU/ASCII/TCP), TSAA, UDP/IP, SNTP, etc

Redundant design: A single controller supports 2 CM modules, working independently and providing redundant communication or expansion ports

Power consumption: Maximum 8W (without MAU), additional 3.75-6W is consumed for every additional MAU added

Supporting components and extensions

Base plate types: divided into standard base plates, HART communication base plates, and hazardous environment base plates (ATEX certified) according to application scenarios, suitable for different module installation requirements;

Extension components:

I/O extender kit: realizes multi I/O column data transmission, provides logic power terminals, supports up to 200 meters of I/O bus expansion;

Interconnection components: Connect the same column baseboard, transmit I/O messages and logic power supply;

Essential accessories: End cover (protecting both ends of the base plate), terminal cover (protecting unconnected terminals), slot cover (protecting idle slots), resistant to dust, liquids, and corrosive gases;

Software tool: TriStation 1131 development platform (v4.5), including programming, debugging, document management functions, and supporting CEMPLE extensions.

Safety and diagnostic features

Fault detection: Channel level continuous diagnosis, supporting single/multi-point fault detection, Fault indicator light alarm;

Voting mechanism: The median value is taken in TMR mode, and the average value is taken in dual-mode to ensure data reliability;

Hot standby support: All I/O modules support hot standby replacement without downtime;

Protective performance: anti-static (8kV air discharge), anti surge (2kV), reverse voltage protection (-0.6VDC).
